Edgewater is a neighborhood located just north of Downtown and south of the Upper East Side. It’s roughly bound by North 17th Street to the south, North 37th Street to the north, the Florida East Coast Railway and East First Avenue to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east.

Edgewater is primarily a residential neighborhood, with many historic early 20th century homes. The neighborhood has more and more high-rise residential towers being built to the east along Biscayne Bay. Since 2000, the area has grown in popularity, due to its proximity to Downtown and neighborhoods such as the Design District, Wynwood and Midtown. Recent developments in the neighborhood, have brought rapid urbanization to the area, with the construction of high-rise and mid-rise residential buildings, and more retail.


Restaurants are quickly sprouting up as Edgewater continues to develop. A healthy mix of seafood, Italian cuisine, fresh brews and much more lies just blocks from residential towers.


Edgewater is in very close proximity to Midtown and the shops are right around the corner. Designer furniture stores can also be found throughout the neighborhood ideal for furnishing your new condo.


Join a sand volleyball game with your neighbors at the park or take your pup for some playtime in the fenced off area.

Edgewater is near the Wynwood neighborhood which has a cutting-edge, independent theater showcasing first-run independent, foreign, art, and family films.
